Folks have justified Trump’s many horrible bad behaviors by saying “but he’s the most pro-life president ever!”

Not really.

Abortion rates have been falling in the US but in 2016 it was about 1700 abortions per day.

Now for COVID-19, in spite of Trump saying “it’s just going to go away”, we typically have a number of local precautions in place and even with those precautions we are currently at about 2000 deaths per day.

Those are almost exactly the same number. So according to Trump’s logic that number is not significant and they’re probably just going to go away.
