There is an emerging train of thought like so: although Trump is despised by most sentient beings, we would still benefit from his pick(s) for SCOTUS.

So apparently it’s OK to hands the reins of the republic over to a guy who no one likes or respects so that he can appoint the Supreme Court.

You give the guy the keys, he’s probably going to drive the car.  Just saying…
