Philosophical stuff here.
Now I’ve heard the rationale that lots of men talk like this and that’s true. But not men who are qualified to be president of the United States. Not men that I want my kids to hear.
In fact, I can’t think of another celebrity who is known to talk like this, although I’m pretty sure there are plenty of guys in the NFL who could give him a run for his money. That said, when he referred to his comments as “locker room talk” a number of professional athletes came forward and said they never heard talk like that in the locker room. That’s their workplace.
I know if I said stuff like this in my workplace, I’d be fired. I wouldn’t be asked to take training by HR, I’d be summarily fired.
But at least I could still be president. It’s good to have something to fall back on.
