Gun owners cite ad nauseum their need to own guns to protect against a tyrannical government.  But surprisingly, most gun owners like the tyrannical direction of the current government.  As such they’re not likely to need their guns to oppose said government.  However, they can use those guns to shoot anyone who disagrees with them, and that’s a constitutionally protected right, right?
