The GOP is spending tons of money attacking Katie Hobbs, painting her as nothing short of Satan’s representative on earth.
Claim: she doesn’t care about the average guy
They’re saying the Arizona senators voted on a measure to provide short term relief to Arizona citizens from high gas prices by removing the gas tax and Katie Hobbs vetoed it.
OK, so I don’t know if you can figure this out but we wouldn’t have a “high gas prices” issue to contend with if the GOP (or their addled POTUS) hasn’t decided to attack Iran just to distract from the Epstein files.
(As I’ve said before North Korea enriched uranium, built a bomb, weaponized it, and worked on long range delivery tech to get the bomb to the shores of the US. No attacks. Iran– still trying to enrich. Better attack ’em!)
So the arsonist is saying the efforts to put out the fire are insufficient.
Maybe the loss of revenue from the gas taxes would have blown up the budget and she was, I don’t know, trying to not bankrupt the state. Of course trying to avoid bankruptcy is so lame because everybody does it!
Claim: she took a luxury trip at the taxpayers’ expense
The cognitive dissonance here is off the charts. I don’t know if she spent more traveling than she should have but let’s take a look at the discretionary spending by the POTUS on golf and redecorating the White House and tearing stuff down and building arches and commissioning statues and building ornate ballrooms and paying to refurbish jets. Then let’s talk about what a politician is allowed to do with the public money.
Pay to Play
Hobbs was cleared of wrongdoing related to the long running pay-to-play investigation. But even though she was cleared they still think she gave a contract to a wealthy donor. Again the cognitive dissonance was legendary here. Giving no-bid contracts to folks after they make huge political donations? Huh, where have I heard that before.
So was she squeaky clean? I don’t know and I don’t care. Typically the Dems hold their own accountable whereas the GOP just looks the other way. Or more commonly accuses the Dems of exactly what they’re doing.
